Many people visit Orlando for the Theme parks. Walt Disney World Resort offers attractions, shows, dinner and shopping. Regardless of the attraction that Disney Parks are known for, it’s the quintessential American holiday and it truly is an ordeal like no other. What's more, with Universal Orlando, Sea World and Busch Gardens Tampa, there are a lot of ideas to keep you occupied. Obviously, there's something else entirely to Orlando than amusement parks, particularly if you want to do what the local people do.

Best Time of the Year to Visit Orlando

The best time to visit Orlando is between October and June if the humidity of the summer is something you want to avoid. Also the theme Parks are less crowded. Summer months get busy as school holidays across the world bring in visitors.

In case you're hoping to stay up late, Downtown Orlando has a few clubs that are open until 2 A.M. Popular locations are on Church Street, which offers a scope of clubs. Divider St. found off Orange Ave. is another well known spot with  bars and eateries. In case you're staying close to the amusement parks, Universal City walk offers a mixture of clubs. A cinema is also a popular choice and Universal has a multiplex offerings. Downtown Disney offers evening time excitement with a gentler touch; Plenty to see and do, including restaurants.

 Where to Eat in Orlando

Orlando has plenty of Nationally recognized restaurants. There are also a lot of local options, such as Seasons 52 in Doctor Phillips, more expensive but worth the visit. Manny's Chophouse in Haines City is a local American Diner that is very popular and we recommend calling ahead, their salad is one of the best or just grab a quick beer at the bar.

Where to Stay in Orlando

Orlando has a lot of Hotels from the cheaper motel type right upto to 5 star luxury. Disney has several hotels on their property with a simple easy ride to the parks. If you are looking to stay in a Disney Hotel, there are numerous Resorts for you. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is the best, while Disney's Boardwalk is situated close to one of the amusement parks, Epcot. International Drive and Highway 192 in Kissimmee is your best choice for Hotels. Proving more popular each year are vacation homes. For less than a quality hotel room, you can rent a house with pool. Shopping in Orlando

Both the Florida Mall and Mall at Millenia are well know. The Florida Mall has an incredible blend of stores for all budget plans while the Mall at Millenia panders to the higher-end customer. For great bargains, make sure to visit the Premium Outlets. You could easily spend all day here.
